50th SSP Reunion Celebration
The 50th SSP Reunion Celebration in Ojai, July 18-19, will be the chance of a lifetime for alumni and former faculty to remember "the educational experience of a lifetime",
meet classmates and other SSPers from 16 to 65, and enjoy again that unique combination of intellectual and social stimulation that is the Summer Science Program. Join us!
Friday will feature two events in parallel: a Benefit Fundraising Reception & Dinner at the Ojai Valley Inn,
and a Kickoff Reception & Hangout at Thacher School.
Saturday will be a special Reunion Day at Thacher, with a full day of activities.
Families are welcome, and of course, the students and faculty of SSP 2008 will be there too.
Registration
In order to plan the biggest and best SSP Reunion ever (and feed everyone), we need to know how many people will attend. Advance registration is required for all three events.
On Reunion Day, lunch and dinner in the Thacher dining hall are included in the ticket price, with discounts for young adults, teenagers, and children.
In the registration process for Reunion Day you will be asked whether you also plan to attend either the Benefit Dinner or the Kickoff Reception.
Click here to register and pay online, or mail the RSVP card with your check to SSP c/o Richard Bowdon, 108 Whiteberry Dr, Cary, NC 27519
Benefit Fundraising Reception & Dinner
Friday evening, July 18, Ojai Valley Inn
One of the most important ways to celebrate our 50th summer will be to assure SSP's financial security for the next half-century.
Alumni and friends who are in a position to invest in SSP's future are invited to attend a Benefit Fundraising Reception & Dinner.
We will honor key individuals who taught or otherwise worked at SSP for many years, those who founded the independent non-profit in 1999,
and those whose generous financial support has underwritten SSP's post-Thacher years. Child care can be arranged.
