Your Contribution

Each year SSP budgets about $70,000 for need-based financial aid. Program fees paid by families cover less than half of total expenses. We rely on support from alumni and friends like you to make up the difference.

Help tomorrow's young scientists to have "the educational experience of a lifetime". Make a generous contribution today by credit card, debit card, or check.

 Online
Contribute securely through PayPal, using a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account (less a 3% transaction fee). Registration with PayPal is not required.
Families of students attending SSP may pay the program fee using a credit card by clicking below. You must add 3% to the program fee to cover the bank's credit card transaction charge; to avoid this extra charge, pay by check or money order. Payment is through PayPal, but you do not need to register with PayPal.

 By Mail
Print the donation form and mail it with your check to the address shown.

Also consider these ways to maximize the impact and/or lower the cost of your donation:

Matching: If your employer will match your gift, please follow the appropriate procedures.
Recurring: Set up an automatic monthly, quarterly, or annual donation through Network For Good.
Saving taxes: Contribute appreciated securities and avoid capital gains taxes. Contact us for more information.
Bequests: Contact us for information about remembering the Summer Science Program in your will.
Searching: Use Goodsearch as the default search engine in your browser. After you designate SSP as your preferred nonprofit, Goodsearch will donate about a penny to SSP for every search you make. Over time it can really add up!
eBay: SSP is registered with eBay Giving Works. Whenever you list an item to sell on eBay, you can designate some or all of the proceeds to go to SSP.
Payroll Deduction: If your employer provides for charitable payroll deductions, e.g. through United Way, designate part of the deduction to go to SSP.

Summer Science Program, Inc. is an independent California nonprofit public benefit corporation. The IRS has designated SSP as a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, EIN #94-3341965, so contributions are deductible as provided by law.
